Nyanza/Western Region-Health

In Nyanza/Western Region, the Corporation donated, double decker metal beds, mattresses, sanitary towels and assorted food stuffs to Double Joy Children's Farm home located at Aram Sub-location, Rarieda Sub-County in Siaya County. The home was started in 1995 by a resident of the area to help the orphaned children in the community. Currently, the center has 89 children; 53 boys and 36 girls. Some of the children (about 15%) are HIV positive. All the children attend school at the center and have classes from Early Childhood Development Education to Class 8.
