PROJECT OBJECTIVE

To enhance increased access to finance by Agri-SMEs, SACCO’s and MFI’s that on lend to or service small holder farmers from AFCs wholesale lending, ancho models and warehouse receipt systems.

PARTNERSHIP ACTIVTY SUMMARY FSD

AGRA awarded AFC a project support grant of USD 100,00 from March 5th, 2022 to March 4th, 2023 to carry out the product in Supporting Input Supply Value Chain through Blended Financing from AFC and AGRA. 
Formerly, AGRA and AFC had successfully executed a collaborative program in Kenya’s Bura irrigation scheme with goal of enhancing smallholder farmers’ access to innovative agricultural credit for increased commercial and seed maize production.
